Oppositional Forces and Harmonious Paths

Today at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a straightforward feature of one of my favorites among Wings's pieces.  [Yes, it's one I would wear quite happily, but fortunately, it's not designed for tiny-wristed types like myself. It can, however, be worn easily by women and men alike.] 

I think what attracts me to it so much (aside, of course, from the perfection of his stampwork and his cool blending of stone accents) is the fact that it takes symbols of incredibly powerful elemental forces, forces that are diametrically opposed, and synthesizes them into a harmonious whole. [It's that whole Libra thing, doncha know.] Matching piece to be covered later.
