Early April, and we have late June skies.

We also had a small rain shower this evening, along with a full rainbow and a second rainbow trying to form at either end. None of these are spring conditions; it's summer weather, despite the cold. 

This has been a day from hell. The guys were over this morning to look at the side door, the one whose lock came off in my hand a couple of weeks ago. Of course, the manufacturer has made it both a nonstandard size and a proprietary internal construction, which means it's impossible to put a different handle/lock assembly on it. We can't even put a deadbolt on it. And those assholes don't make this model anymore [it's been nine years, for fuck's sake], so we can't get either the handle/lock or a replacement door [not that we'd buy it from them anyway]. We also learned today that the break was inevitable, not least because they sent the wrong hinges, and it was hung incorrectly on top of that, and the lock tumbler was a piece-of-shit flimsy bit of thin steel.

So we're screwed. We're going to have to special-order a whole new door [through Randall's, the locals], because of that whole nonstandard size bullshit. It's going to set us back well into four figures. We don't have it, because taxes, if I get the damn things done, are going to take every last cent. I've been sick for days [all autoimmune, but it's been bad], and now my right shoulder has subluxed [partially dislocated], and my whole dominant arm and hand are in excruciating pain. And there are still the taxes to get done. Oh, and FB still locking me out, so I can't work with my own damn group, not that I have a spare minute anyway.

I hate this week. And I still have to get through it, and preferably do so without landing myself in the hospital or worse. Because I'm out of time to get all of this done, my health is in jeopardy, and we still have to bring in sales weekly to break even, which we are not remotely doing now. We were already eight weeks behind where we need to be on sales even before the door decided to go to hell, and we will not get through this year if that doesn't change soon.
