That was this morning. It's raining now.

Which is wonderful. At the moment, it's a soft, gentle, steady rain, which is what we most need.

It's been a freaking day. Errands, lots of time on my feet and walking, and I hurt everywhere now. But we're still waiting to hear the size of the check we need to write to Uncle Sam [it's going to be big, no matter what], and that means that we need to make it rain in the metaphorical sense, too.

The one thing that came out of the tax nonsense is that I was not losing my mind; last year, we made barely more than 50% of the previous year's sales, which tells you how bad Trump is for business [and for everything else except inflicting harm]. So we've got to get caught up, and we've got to maintain it, because we've got big costs [the door, for one] ahead.
