This day, I swear . . . .

It has been one.

The good news is that the taxes are turned over. Now we wait to see how bad the damage is. As late as it is, we may still need an extension; we'll probably know the answer to that on Monday. And they are not entirely off my desk yet. But mostly.

I've been awake since 2:30 this morning, and there is not an inch of my body that is not screaming in pain. I've had a dislocated right shoulder for a week now; a dislocated left knee almost as long. Today is the first time I've left home in 36 days, and that was only because I had no choice. My pain levels are truly off the charts these days, and so is the exhaustion. And everything will be very late tonight, which is why these are appearing out of order.

Today is also the twelfth anniversary of the day we lost Lilith. It can't possibly have been a dozen years yet, but apparently it is. And I miss that sweet girl every single day.

Also, still no access to FB, because no time to deal with it, which means still no access to my own group. Still no sales. Still the week from hell. And I still have to get through it, and next week, too, and preferably do so without landing myself in the hospital or worse. Because I'm out of time to get all of this done, my health is in jeopardy, and we still have to bring in sales weekly to break even, which we are not remotely doing now. We were already eight weeks behind where we need to be on sales even before the side door decided to go to hell, and we will not get through this year if that doesn't change soon. We need sales; we don't make it through spring if this drought doesn't break soon. That up there? That's one of his reimagined cuffs, soon to be no longer solid sterling. The stone that's going on it? It is, if I'm not mistaken, a titanium druzy. It'll probably be done tomorrow.
