It's perhaps fitting, given that Jerome was the patron saint of librarians and translators, skills of no use in this place to colonizing forces then or now; it's also perhaps fitting that the same name would wind up being conferred, mistakenly, upon on the roader region's greatest warriors, one whose actual name was Goyathlay.
