It was only a matter of time. It always, always ends this way. I'm actually kind of surprised that it took a full week.
At any rate, after a week of abandonment, the little red girl's owners took her away this morning. Yes, there was a scene. Didn't even ask for her meds. It's all about money, as it always is. It's also about denial, but I have receipts, in photographic form, and I know what shape she is has been, and will be in.
But this little girl's shot at survival, forget any kind of healing and normal life, just dropped precipitously. And nope; there is not one damn thing we can do about it. Things don't work that way here.
My heart hurts.
