No real chance of rain.

Fog this morning. It turned into flurries that continued until early afternoon; not enough to stick, just enough to be visible in the air. Now, in quite literally just the last minute, the wind has kicked up hard from the north, and that's going to make it very, very cold.

There's no real chance of anything, rain or snow, in the forecast for another week, and that's going to be dangerous for the land.

Speaking of no real chance of rain, that's been the case on the sales front pretty much since the start of the year. We have had one sale this whole month (in the first couple of days of it), and nothing since, and that's not gonna cut it, especially with my Patreon down $250 again this month. We have taxes upcoming, and we talked to the excavator guy today, and that mess will likely be early March (unless the weather suddenly turns thirty degrees colder and stays that way). By that mess, I mean scoping out the drain from the septic tank to the leach field, and seeing whether there's a block that can be cleared or we need a whole new field in a different place. From the sound of it, it's unlikely in the extreme to be the former. I have no idea what that's gonna cost us. But as it is, we're paying out $200+ every 8-10 days to have the tank pumped, because the water has nowhere to go.

I'm so overwhelmed with physical pain and bureaucratic health care bullshit and the upcoming nonsense with taxes, and I can't focus on any of it because the need to make sales is so extreme. Our outlay this month has been absolutely staggering, and it's cut into everything else. And no, I'm not going to have my new symptoms checked; I'm having enough trouble coping with all the existing ones, and we do not have the money for a whole bunch of travel, never mind the damn tests. Just to cover leachfield and taxes, I have got to bring in more income somehow. But there's no getting blood from a stone, and it's really rocky around here right now.
