We can hope, anyway.

Up extra early this morning, because Wings was notified at the end of the day yesterday that his doctor's appointment was changed from Friday to today, and an hour earlier besides. Which meant that I was up and [partially] caffeinated and showered and dressed and outside in time to see the sun rise.

It was beautiful.

The appointment [just routine; checking in to see how his doing with her adjustments to his basic meds] went fine. What wasn't fine was finding out that we're losing her; she's taking over the administrative side of the practice, and I am just gutted. But her trainee will take over, and maybe after a year of paperwork [or less? I would hate it if it were me] she'll return to practice. We can hope, anyway. For now, I have to get back to work.

In the meantime, the rest of this week is going to be geared around making sales, because I don't have a choice about that. No sales yet this week, and I'm so tired after all the nonsense of this year to date, but I can't let up, because so far, we're not even breaking even on the year, and I will have to worry about next year's tax bill soon enough. I need to bring in at least on sale this week, preferably two or even three. And Spirit knows he's got a ton of new work up on the site (with a new naja pendant, a new big necklace, and a new dual-strand cuff to be finished shortly, too):
