Beautiful morning, interrupted this afternoon by the winds. For most of that, at least, I was able to be indoors; a friend came by to visit, and we talked inside for an hour and a half.

Now, we're seeing a repeat of yesterday evening, plenty of cloud cover but nothing that holds any rain, at least not for us.

Story of my life these days.

Right now, I'm focused on three things: bringing in enough sales to get the taxes paid off entirely very rapidly; bringing in enough to cover the well pump; and getting caught up on everything I've had to neglect in recent weeks.

And then I have to figure out how to prepay for next year, because this is two years in a row with this nonsense and I can't do this again.

For two years, I've been very literally killing myself trying to cover everything, and it is what it is, and I'm too tired to give a shit anymore. My illness is progressing, and the world is on fire, and right now, I'm tapped out on every level. But the world doesn't give a shit, so we need to bring in more sales, a lot of them, immediately. There's too much that still has to be covered, and we're out of time.
