Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a work for dawn as Butterfly, that tiny summer messenger of the spirits. It's a pair of earrings wrought of old-style butterfly conchas set with amber, a chrysalis sun emergent from the cocoon of night.

We have huge expenses looming over us now: Our well pump failed yesterday, which means that we have no water, and the next giant tax payment is due tomorrow, so we need to bring in sales, plural, immediately to be able to cover them. So we need shares, but most of all, we need sales.
