It's a very hot day.

Most of the early clouds were just diffusing contrails. We have a few real ones scattered around now, but they won't do anything on this side of the ridgeline. The next two days are supposed to be even hotter.

The irony is that this should be our hottest month, and a lot moreso than this. But it's been unseasonably cold for so long, and the air feels so thin now courtesy of all the climate damage, that it feels much worse.

Apparently the protest in town had a good turnout. We didn't go; neither of us can stand for long anymore, and everyone here is sick and no one masks, and neither of us needs the new COVID variant or anything else. We do plenty of resistance work every day that doesn't involve holding a sign on a street corner. And no, neither of us has even thought [until now] of that Nazi abomination going on in D.C. We're too busy trying to keep folks alive and safe.

Which is increasingly hard to do as everything falls apart, what's not actively being torn apart, around us. Two assassinations last night in MN, and another two attempts that might yet succeed. And it's only the beginning, or, rather, the latest. This is one of the reasons we needed the Dems to be OUT THERE, and with vanishingly few exceptions [Baraka, McIvor, Padilla, Van Hollen], they're failing this country right into open exterminationist Nazism. Pelosi and Schumer needed to be gone years ago; failing that, please, for the love of all that's holy, shut them the fuck up and put someone out front with morals, ethics, courage, and a goddamned spine.

And while the world gets torn apart, this Nazi regime still demands our fucking taxes.

So I still need to make make consistent sales, because we have the next giant tax payment due NOW, and I would dearly love to cover them all at once and not have to worry about it for a while, since we know there are there are other huge expenses lying in wait for us. Which means, of course, that we still need shares, and we most definitely still need weekly sales, until I can get everything covered that has to get covered [and that will be a good long while].
