All the snow is fading fast now. No surprise, considering that's thirty degrees too warm, and expected to remain so for the next two weeks.

It's hard to get into the holiday spirit when it looks and feels like April.

Of course, it's hard for us anyway, because we're so buried under work at this time of year. Every year. It's just the way it is. We've taken to regarding "Christmas" the old, the famous 12 days from Christmas Day to Epiphany, and it works for us. But I would still feel less Scrooge-y if we had snow.

We were blessed with a really good sale a couple of nights ago, so the pressure to cover immediate things will be off in a few days when the payment arrives. But there's still all the rest, all the stuff we couldn't cover all year because of one catastrophe after another, the taxes that still need to be prepaid, al the January bills that will be here before we know it. So we still need to make the equivalent of a sale a day now, on average. And he has so much new work!  I'm hoping to pull another late night to get five of them up yet. yeah, I know, I shouldn't, but it has to be done, because the last two years have all but killed us financially, and we're almost out of year.
