No sleep and power outages and plasterwork canceled and still no flooring.

No, no new photos today. No time. Also, the texture guy blew us off, thinking he could demand more money for 30 minutes that he already said were included, so no. The electrician neither showed nor called. The plaster guys showed, but just as Sherm got here, Indian Killer Utility's power went out for an hour and a half, so he wound up sending the guys home and they'll try again tomorrow. When there's no power, there's no well pump, and no water means no mixing of the clay. Of course, it came back on less than five minutes after they split.

Also, the vet was out to do a very expensive blood draw on Shade (in the $625-675 range). The mass on her underside appears to be not a tumor, but rather a very, VERY bad allergic/inflammatory response to something, but that something is not insect bites or stings. So we're trying to isolate the trigger now, because the boys are not affected. We're looking at the moment at something in the new probiotic they're all on (sold and recommended locally), which came from a different manufacturer, and which turns out to have several very different ingredients from what she's been on all this time. It'll be a good week before we know more.

And all day it's been calls and visitors and vendors and deliveries and yet NO FLOORING, and yes, I have been up and running since 4:46 this morning, why do you ask? And I am ready to take off my earrings and go to war with a few of these folks (not the visitors; the vendors/contractors). And at some point, I will have to order a water heater and other appliances, and cabinets to hold them, and a few other things (okay, a lot of other things), so we can still use the cards, which means here are the links:
