Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a tribute to what arrives upon warmer winds, the gift of the summer wildflowers that soften the edges of this sere landscape and set it alight with color. It's an old-style barrette wrought to honor the golden petals whose very existence is rooted in the snow-soaked ground that births the green.
