Not much snow left anywhere now. That gray line above the peaks in the photo, though? It's a smoke plume; we've got multiple prescribed burns in progress around here.
It's been another one of those days, which is basically what this whole week has been. No, I don't have time or tolerance for nonsense; folks wanna be childish, they need to go do that somewhere all the way away from me right now. I'm always amused [in that way that's the only way to cope with people's bigotries] when they get so upset because I say "fuck" but people freezing to death in the dark is apparently okay with them.
I am so far behind on absolutely everything, and no end in sight. No, we could not get our labs done this week, so that gets bumped to next week. There's other stuff, too. I am overdue by about 3 years for every kind of mammogram and scan, plus thyroid imaging and liver even longer overdue. None of that gets done if I don't start bringing in some real income, and no sales is not gonna cut it.
Our floor for sales and breaking even is making a minimum of one sale per week for the year, and we're still more than a week in the hole now. I don't have enough hours in the day as it is, and heaven knows I don't have the bandwidth for anything more. Flare, progression, whatever, it doesn't matter. I've got to do something, but damned if I know what at this point. It's grim. Links are here:
