No time for sleep.

Yesterday was a nightmare across the board, and not just because of the outages that torched my day in terms of work. And, maybe predictably, my pain levels were so terrible all night that I got no sleep, which is why I was back at it at 3 AM.

Today was, despite the lack of sleep, a lot better in a lot of ways. But even though sunset's an hour "later" [artificially so], I am so far behind now there'll be no time for sleep at all over the next several days. 

I've got to get the tax shit off my desk before anything else. The problem is that everybody keeps interrupting with demands that I stop and address X, Y, whateverthehell right this minute, and I'm way past any ability to be patient or polite at this point. I have too many emergency things piling up, and no sales to cover any of it, and I'm the one who has to figure out how to make it all work.

And then there's all the rest. We still have to get the well guy out here. But I also still have to get those damn taxes organized and submitted, and, of course, paid, and this year has already been so damn costly [following on a hugely expensive year last year that was perhaps our worst sales year ever]. And I've resented them a lot in my life, but never so much as I do right this moment. To make matters even more maddening, we don't have remotely enough to cover any of it, and if I don't bring in several sales very fast [or one or two big ones, whatever], I don't know what we're going to do.

So now would be a really, really good time to buy, because I really, really need to bring in some income this week. We're out of time.
