Traces of smoke still visible off to the right behind the feeder. Just a moment before, it was a giant gray plume, from the same general area as always. Nobody needs to burn that much.

And in a 1,200-year drought, we have to worry every time somebody burns anything outdoors anywhere near us. Especially now that the Nazikinder have illegally fired a bunch of our forest service employees locally, gotten rid of wildland firefighters, allowed pipes to freeze in the offices and then shut them down, and just generally left destruction in the wake of their rampage. If there's another fire anywhere near here, we're ALL fucked.

Which is precisely what they want, because they want this land and every resource it holds, and they want to steal it all. 

I'm so tired of this bullshit.

And then Chuck Schumer thought he was gonna help the Republicans vote for cloture on the Trump/Musk spending bill?

Turn them all out. Cowards and worse. The world is out of time for their nonsense.

Speaking of out of time . . . , so are we. We have bailed folks out to the tune of an absolutely unholy amount of money already this year, and now I've got to find a way to cover this failing well pressure pump and our taxes. We need sales; can't help anyone if we can't keep our own heads above water, no matter what everyone seems to think.  Also, since we pay cash for everything, we have a lot less available to work with than folks who put everything on plastic. Anyone thinks we're made of money is going to be sorely disappointed, because we're the furthest thing from it.

Yesterday's episode didn't help, either. I'm dealing with three different types of chest pain right now, likely all lupus-induced, breathing issues, and lymph issues that are making me very unhappy. But I'm not going to waste time on scans and biopsies that always come back "inconclusive," and it's not like we can afford it anyway.

Still. Wings has been rocking in the studio for weeks. There's a ton of new work on the site, and I need to sell all of it. If you're in the market? Now would be a really, really good time to buy, because I really, really need to sell some of his work, and soon.
