Four new works by Wings, coordinating with four existing works.

All right, I said I thought Wings would have his new pieces ready before day's end, and I was right. These are all necklaces in the new bead series, The Beaded Hoop Collection. Also, each of these four coordinates with a pair of earrings from The Standing Stones Collection, so I'll post the necklace first, then its complementary earrings. He did these in a sort of randomly chosen yet specific order today, beginning with one to complement the oldest pair, then the newest, then the second-oldest, then the second-newest.  I suspect eventually he'll get to all of the unsold/unpaired ones, but for now, here are four to start.

The first one, above, is Sherds of Sunlight, and I feel compelled to note that "sherds" is actually the spelling of that word we pronounce as "shards." So think "Shards of Sunlight," but with the proper spelling (yeah, I know, I know, proper in English; you wouldn't be able to pronounce it at all in either of our languages, and his language is kept unwritten anyway). You can read its full description at the link. I love this one a lot more than I expected to, which is exactly what happened with the coordinating earrings:

These are called Closer to the Sun, and they feature those same fabulous citrine nuggets at the center. These were named for the season in which they were born, the very start of summer. I absolutely love this pair; they're perfectly balanced. The necklace is, too.

The second necklace is my absolute favorite among these four, one I'm drooling over myself. It's pure light on a silver strand. This one is A Summer's Dawn, and it really is all the colors of those moments just before sunrise here at this time of year. These are called First Light, and again, they really capture the look and feel of it here. That yellow is not citrine, but quartz, and it's really mystical, especially paired with those blues. Again, description at the link.

The third necklace is one that so perfectly captures the colors of this place — and at this time of year, the weather, too. This one is called The Rainy Season, and it features white clouds and storm-webbed turquoise skies and fiery red-gold earth shot through with sand and shell. It coordinates with the second pair of earrings in their series ever made:

These are called Red Earth and Rain, and they use largely the same materials. Again, these are the traditional shades of the Indigenous Southwest, all red earth and turquoise skies.

And lastly, we have a necklace for this new season, one here early again this year. It's The Suns of Autumn, and in this place, they are many in color and shape and angle of the light. This one is backlit by bright golden sun, flowing into the shades of sunrise and sunset, and it coordinates with the next-most-recent pair of earrings:

These are Distant Suns, much like our own will be shortly. This pair is manifest in most of the same materials as the necklace, and these spheres absolutely glow.
