It's our Friday Feature at The NDN Silver Blog, with a work by a master who walked on earlier this year, but who left the world a legacy of tradition and beauty. It's a Pueblo elder in traditional dress, summoned from stone, here to remind us that what recovers the land and reclaims our very selves is bravery and a strong heart, both fanning the flames of a blaze to warm the coldest spirit.
The post is here. Wings's main page is here. Inquiries via the site's Contact form. We received some very good news a couple of weeks ago, and we were able to cover November's monthly expenses and some additional costs, like the hay and vet and farrier work for the horses. But there will be no plumbing repairs, no matter how urgent, until the pandemic that is raging unchecked now recedes somewhat; it's too dangerous to bring people into close quarters like that here now. And there's still the process of figuring out this water/well-drilling problem, plus winter is here, and beginning next week, we will have help with the labor again, but we will need to find their wages. And since neither the drought nor the pandemic is going anywhere, we are still going to need consistent sales to make it through the whole winter (which, if the political sphere goes sideways again, will be bitter indeed for our communities), so shares of the site links are much appreciated.
