It's our Friday Feature at The NDN Silver Blog, with a work that honors both this land mass we know as Turtle Island and the humble spirit of the relative who made its existence possible. It's a meditation, too, on the nature of such gifts, and their use as inspiration to us to reclaim our world in winter, for its restoration and rebirth.
