Finally, a dusting of snow. Only rain down here, but lots of it, with more to come. Frankly, I expected more than that puny amount on the peaks by now, though.
If ever there were a metaphor for basically everything right now, that's it. Not only are we not getting even the bare minimum out of governance and its supposed "leaders," but they're actively trying to kill us. They such fucking craven cowards that it's absolutely embarrassing. We'll all die of the secondhand cringe before they do anything effective enough to get us.
Hard day, pain-wise, but that's my life now, and I don't really expect that to change. I'm still so far behind that it's ridiculous. The rest of the month, hell, year is going to be very hard, anyway. I've still got to get caught up on all the rest of my work, entirely apart from the now-several days I've lost here. And I've still got to bring in a lot more sales through the end of the year. This year has been hellishly expensive already, and we've also got some other big-ticket things to take care of between now and then, and that only happens if we make some sales now.
