Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a talisman, an amulet, a shield against the storm. We have a literal storm on the way as I write; as a broader culture, we face a great many more, gathering at the horizon. It's wise to let in the light, but also to arm oneself with the proper spiritual shield.
