Shadows looming everywhere these days. A lot of it stems from out there [points toward colonial world] — most, actually. But I hate this season for many reasons, not least of which are all the memories it triggers repeatedly.
Fortunately, I have plenty of work to throw myself into in hopes of forgetting so much that was so bad. The car will be ready later on this afternoon, to the tune of about $550, which is frankly half or even less what I was afraid it might be. Still, that's $550 I have to make up, so I've got to start bringing in some scratch from sales, subscriptions, everywhere and anywhere I can, especially since we don't have a fix on Wings's recovery time from all this slated for next week.
