Finally, we have rain. A mix of gorgeous clouds and color, too, although the latter will probably be mostly gone by tomorrow. That's because we're allegedly supposed to get a lot heavier storms this evening, and if that proves true, everything will freeze hard overnight, coating all of it in a thin layer of ice. The ice will thaw at sunup, of course, but the damage will be done in terms of leaves and petals.

But we've had a glorious color season this year, and I'm grateful for that; too many years recently, the drought has meant that the leaves went straight from green to brown and gray.

Speaking of making it rain, and of green, I've got to do the former and generate the latter, and I've got to do it now. The guys are getting laid off for next week; there's no question of that now. But there's too much else that has to be covered now, and I have GOT to bring in several sales between now and Sunday night. Somehow. There's a lot of gorgeous new work up, but I've got to sell it for it to make any difference [and those two pairs of loop earrings are finished, so I'll try to have those up tonight; $275 each + s/h/i]. We've got to change this, and fast.
