Beautiful clouds this morning. No rain, though. Now they've decided it's supposed to arrive after 5 PM [originally it was predicted for this afternoon and evening; then for this morning and clearing thereafter; and now we're back to evening again]. Who knows? WE know better than to depend on official forecasts anymore, anyway.

No rain yet this week in the metaphorical sense, either, and I've got to fix that, fast. And yeah, I know, I hate the whole "holiday shopping season in October" nonsense, but it's been that way going on half a century now, and we can't afford to pretend that this is not already that season. I just need us to have a good fall and winter sales-wise, now. Two years in a row, now, all these hellish expenses we could neither predict nor prevent, and certainly couldn't ignore, and we're going to be paying for a lot of them for the foreseeable. So right now, we need to make up for a lot of that over these three months, in part because we have a very big tax prepayment due before the end of the year. If we could just continue to make regular weekly sales, we'd be fine . . . but we need to make those sales now. There's a lot of gorgeous new work up, but I've got to sell it for it to make any difference. I need to find a way to change all of that now, and fast. And to that end, links are here:
