No change in the weather.

Big lenticular shelf clouds this morning, but no change in the weather out of it. Nothing to speak of in the extended forecast, either, which is a very, very bad sign for the land.  It should not be in the 70s in November.

Yeah, out of order again today, because I've been on the run [hobble, actually] all day, and am just now getting to settle down indoors with some coffee and a chance to get to my own work. [Don't worry about the coffee; we've been drinking it in the evening for decades, and if I don't drink it? That's when I don't sleep. Such is the nature of the ADD part of neurodivergence.]

Anyway, I picked up another grand's worth of grocery cards today, this time at SuperSave. That would be because it was a woman there today. Wings asked me if it was an older woman, and I told him, "Yup, 'cause if you wanna get shit done, you go to us older women to do it." Anyway, I'm still short a couple grand of having enough to  get everyone on the list completely covered. More, the list is still growing by the day, and it's not single people, it's families, three, four, five folks each or more, and I have to find a way to get them grocery cards, because you know damn good and well that the feds are not going to do their jobs properly.

On top of that, I've still got to bring in daily sales, and my own work is suffering badly from all the other stuff, but it's got to get done. We are, by comparison, so very lucky: housed, warm, with a full pantry. These folks definitely don't have the last, and a lot of them donn't have, or are at risk of losing, the other two.

But after this god-awful year, we still need to make a sale a day now, on average, and we're nowhere near that. The last two years have all but killed us financially, and I need to get us caught up to make it through the end of the year.
