Even the aspens are finally turning fast. It's odd to have all the browning on the north side, when our winds usually come from the southwest, or rather, they used to come from there. All bets are off now.

And on a lot of fronts? I'm done. Yes, the grocery-card project is still on. That's about it; there's literally nothing more I can take on. I put in about 100 hours last week between mutual-aid work and our own work, and I'm nowhere near where I need to be on my regular work, and something's got to give. Right now, what's giving is my sanity [my patience is LONG gone at this point], and I know everyone apparently thinks I'm rich and have nothing else to do, but both of those things are as far from the truth as it's possible to get. I can't do anything about people's bullshit notions of me that they manufacture in their heads, but I'll be damned if I'll kill myself with the effort of trying to prove the truth to people invested in believing the lies. My health is already too precarious for that.

So other than the SNAP replacement stuff [which folks need to understand is taking HOURS out of my day every single day already], I'm taking nothing else on. I have GOT to bring in sales, because we have bills and expenses too, and I need to bring in a hell of lot more than we are now, and I can't do that without the time to, you know, do that. There is so much new work, and there will soon be a lot more that's newer still. Trouble is, after this god-awful year, we need to make a sale a day now, on average, and we're nowhere near that.

The last two years have all but killed us financially, and I need to get us caught up to make it through the end of the year. Among that new work is the pair of earrings I posted here the other day, which you can find here; the necklace I posted here a few days ago has a whole new bail, and I'm planning to get it up on the site yet tonight without fail [yeah, right,, which I've been saying for a fucking week now, but there are only 24 hours in a day]. But whatever else, we [which means I] have got to change this trajectory, and fast.
