It's #ThrowbackThursday at The NDN Silver Blog, and today, it's a trip back six or seven years to a fiery bit of red earth (by way of a water spirit). This was one of my all-time favorite pieces, and just looking at it makes me feel warmer in this bitter pre-winter cold. That cabochon was unique even at the time, and it would take some doing to track down another, but I have no doubt that it can be, given a little time and effort.
