Yeah, I know. It's supposed to be that bad-luck day. We've had that day every day since the beginning of the year, so we're done, thanks.
Which is not to say that it hasn't been a strange one. All day long, I've kept thinking that it's Saturday. Which is odd, since we've had plans scheduled for tomorrow, plans now likely off thanks to the winter storm that's supposed to be arriving sometime tonight and sticking around through Monday. Supposedly more ice than snow, which is not what anyone wants, but the mountain's pissed now, so we're lucky to get anything at all at this point.
Theoretically, two of the guys will be back bright and early tomorrow morning to do more on the rewiring. Note that first word. If we ever manage to get this house wired properly, and without my having an aneurysm over it first, it'll be a miracle. I might very well be bald by then, though. Thanks to the original fuck-up, we're set back more than $5K. Not something we can afford, but we have to do it. Which means that we need shares:
