Our fierce little warrior girl finally lost her battle.
This is how I'd rather remember our little kachina girl ("Kachina" was Wings's nickname for her).
We love you, Lilith.
My heart is ripped into shreds.
aji and wings - let your heart be filled with the joy of having her in your life - for she still remains there close by and within your heart. they cannot stay as long as we demand/wish - but they remain closeby to give us solace when we need them.

Lilith will have her touch when she comes to visit, as Dom has hers. You'll know. They will continue to watch over you, both of them. Lilith has good company as she walks on.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, Nimisenh. She fought the good fight for three years that you wouldn't otherwise have had with her, all because she loved you all so much.
Bodies die, but love? Never.
Damn. :/ I'm so sorry to see this - you and Wings have our heartfelt condolences, my friend. As both River and Edrie mentioned, her spirit has only left her body: it will never leave you, and the paw prints & fur she left upon your souls are her indelible mark upon your lives - she'll always be with you, wherever you go.
