That's Stormy, right on the job, keeping the monster at bay. Said monster, of course, being Wings holding a gutter, which he was retrieving to put beneath the chicken coop to route the runoff from yesterday's massive thaw (which continues apace in this unseasonably warm weather).

My own monster is somewhat different, and refusing to be kept at bay: I'm still battling this constant tendency of right hip, knee, and ankle to want to sublux, and the pain is excruciating. It's going to be a miserable few days, or weeks, or months, or whatever, until it resolves itself. Of course, the whole next week, at least, is going to be a nightmare anyway, so there's that. First and foremost is taxes; then when that's done, there's everything else. And there's always the unrelenting pain underneath it all, and the attendant lack of sleep.

Also, Patreon patrons: Speaking of taxes, that's what March and April are here, and also medical appointment months, and I am already snowed completely under. I will not be doing daily postings for that period. I'll try to post as often as I can, but I can't in good conscience commit to every day (or every night, as the case may be) when I have all of this stuff hanging over my head. Things will lighten up in May, presumably. For now, I need to make some sales to cover the coming outlay to a government that would prefer to see us dead.

And on top of all of that, I'm still trying desperately to get caught up on a bunch of the things I haven't been able to do these last three weeks, having been so sick with this godforsaken lupus flare. Still need to make sales, though.
