Indigenous Arts: Spirit as Symbol and Symbol as Spirit

Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's this week's edition of our series on Indigenous Arts. Today, we continue with the month's theme of Native symbols as they appear in Native art — this time, by way of representations of the spirits (around here, known as katsinam, or kachinas). Lilith puts in an appearance, too (and, yes, it fits).

The post is here. Wings's main page is here. Some of the works featured in today's post have already sold, but most remain available for purchase; simply inquire via the site's Contact form. And, as always, sales are much needed, so shares of the site links are much appreciated.
