Short days, freezing nights, and shares needed

Well, there comes a point where the wall of exhaustion is just too much to penetrate. There's no going above, below, around, or through; we've both been pushing it too hard for too long. I got a bunch of chores done today, but nothing that actually puts me ahead of the game. I'm afraid to think about how much awaits me this weekend. For now, we both need rest. 

So no extra photos tonight. I just don't have the energy, or the patience. Just a straight-up share request, because I've got about ten days to figure out the cost of all the windows and doors and then raise it, and it's gonna be a lot.

Which means, of course, that we need continued daily shares of the link to our YouCaring page, via the widgets provided, and especially the widget code at lower right that produces the running tally shown above. We also need continued daily shares of Wings's site. We are also nearing the end of October, and I know that sounds like a long time and that folks don't want to think about Christmas, but for those of you who commission gifts each year, now is the time to think about it. Custom design and silversmithing take time, and Wings will need as much lead time as possible to be able to pour his heart and soul and spirit into the work and still get it delivered to you on time. Many thanks to everyone for your help in getting us to this point. The next few weeks are going to be one long hard push, trying to get the house closed in before the weather hits, and then getting the interior habitable. We're down to fewer than eleven hours of official daylight now, and while we've been blessed with what are frankly frighteningly warm temperatures during the daytime, the nights are all hard freezes now. And we still have a very long way to go.
