Work begins again bright and early tomorrow morning. The front upstairs wall is up; they'll have the other three up in short order. Then the framework for the upstairs interior begins.
And then it'll be time for the roof.
I said we had roughly ten days to raise the $5,300 needed for roofing materials. Thanks to some generous donors, we've managed $900 of that already; that leaves $4,400 in the next eight days or so. We also passed the 10% mark for this final, compound stage, sometime yesterday.
But that leaves a lot yet to do, and a lot yet to raise. That means that we need consistent daily shares of our YouCaring page via the widgets provided, especially the widget code from the box at lower right that produces this:
We also need similarly consistent shares of Wings's Web site, the source of the sales that fund both daily living expenses and the construction, too. And for folks who want to commission holiday gifts, now is the time to get your orders in; get hold of me via the site's Contact form to arrange to get your projects queued up on his workbench.
Many thanks to everyone who has helped us get to this point with donations, link shares, and moral support. What is rain outside the window tonight will be, at a minimum, snow on the peaks and ice on our grass in the morning, and we are now truly up against the clock with a long way to go. We need to keep at it.
