First ears.

The corn is getting as tall as the fence. We have the first ears growing, cornsilk clearly visible. Provided we don't get an early hard freeze, we'll have both sweet and Indian corn for the first time in . . . I think it's been nine years now.

There are a couple of pumpkins, too, still green; the rest of the squash is still small, but growing.  The beans are probably almost ready to harvest, but I won't be doing any of that until I feel drastically better. And that will be not be this week.

It's been a terrible in nearly every way, and the side effects of my illness and the meds are among the worst. I really hope next week improves, because I can't go through another week with this kind of overwhelming pain.

Not and get anything done, anyway.

And I've got too damn much to do. I need to bring in a lot more sales than what we've been doing, because there's all the medical stuff to pay for, new scrips, and a bunch of equipment stuff he needs for his work. It's been a ridiculously expensive year already [on top of last year], but if we can just continue to make regular weekly sales, we'll be fine. But we need to make those sales now. I posted seven new works by Wings this past week, but I've got to sell them for it to make any difference. There's a lot of gorgeous new work up, and that includes several pairs of brand new earrings are a more modest price point than most of this work. And to that end, links are here:

And we do still need to make those regular weekly sales, so please share all of the links.
