Hot and hazy again.

Welp. As I predicted elsewhere this morning, out of order today. He's working on finishing up several pieces, and just got done with the one I'm planning to feature today, so it'll be a bit before I get that done and posted.

Hot and hazy again today. It's also windy, and I found out yesterday that there are not just two wildfires in this northern vicinity, but now six. The other four are still small, or rather, they were when finally made public yesterday, but after all the wind yesterday and today, I'm doubting they are now. The biggest of them all got reported two days ago as "getting contained." What the local rag didn't say is that it had more than doubled for the second time in just over a day, and was by then somewhere around 5K acres. that's not "contained."

All six of them are northwest, west, and south of us, and thus, we are certainly in line for all the smoke.  We can only hope and pray for containment so that we don't wind up in line for something much worse. And after Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon? Why, no, nobody here trusts the forest service; why do you ask? [Forest service officials negligently started both fires, which merged in the largest and most destructive wildfire in recorded state history.]

Anyway, I've got work to do, and my task list grows exponentially by the day I've got to get his new work posted, and he's turning  his attention to his current commissioned works, something like 8 or 10 different pieces already in process [possibly with more to follow from multiple orders], and get those done very soon. In theory, we'll have rain Monday and Tuesday; we'll see whether it materializes, in either form.

I have got to get caught up, too. But now that we have this big thing no longer hanging over our heads, if we can just continue to make regular weekly sales, we'll be fine. But we need to make those sales now. And to that end, links are here:
