You would think, wouldn't you? Nope. No rain last night. Well, unless you count a dozen sprinkled drops. Same forecast today, and same nopity-nope, most likely.
Plenty of other problems, though. Since Thursday, the water heater has been crapping out, shutting off intermittently with an ignition error code. The plumber was supposed to come out Monday, but this morning, we could smell gas, and wings could literally taste it in the water. So off goes all the gas, and we're waiting for the plumber now, to the tune of weekend service call rates. I have no idea how much this is going to set us back, but I guarantee you we don't have it, not after paying through the nose this week on medical stuff. Fortunately, they'll bill us rather than demand a check today, but we'll have to come up with it somehow in the next few days. Along with all the other freaking bills. When I say the stress is killing me, I'm not using the phrase metaphorically.
All this, of course, means that we need to make some sales. Badly. We can't do this kind of outlay without juggling and shifting and otherwise delaying elsewhere. And none of that even begins to get at what I'm dealing with (and will be for a very, very long time yet). We managed to pay outright on the medical stuff (because we had no choice; it's all cash on the barrelhead), but this leaves us seriously short. So please share the links, because we really need to bring in a lot more to make it through the rest of the season, forget the rest of the year:

- A way to buy me coffee (which actually goes to all of our medical bills, which continue to mount);
- Amazon wishlist, which mostly consists of animal and household stuff;
- Partial registry #1, from Bed, Bath and Beyond. There are new kitchen-y things on it now, stuff that I didn't realize we'd need to replace (either because the RV ruined it or because we gave it away when we had to downsize).
That all I've got. My entire existence is focused around chasing sales to pay medical and other) bills, and it's not going well.
