Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a photo meditation for the first Monday in May, the month when the first petals begin to open themselves to the light. It's a lesson for us, too, in the form and shape and spirit of the prickly pear: a fierce flowering beauty that reminds us of the urgent need to turn harm into healing now.
