Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's an elemental piece cast in a whole new light. That re-envisioning is due entirely to the appearance here this morning of the raptor I've taken to calling Uncle Ferruginous, who's been showing up daily for the better part of a week now. He gave me a new way of looking at what has long been one of my favorite pieces, one where Wings has executed the sort of bold and flawless precision stampwork for which his larger body of work is known.
