It's our Friday Feature at The NDN Silver Blog, and today, it's a messenger who carries the light — both within himself and to bestow as a gift upon the world below his wings. I chose this work by a friend as the featured item for today well in advance, and without consulting a calendar as to the date. Perhaps there was a reason I was led to this small work today; it's certainly a reminder for my own life, and perhaps it's a message that will resonate with loved ones of ours for whom this day is especially dark.
