Turquoise! And shares needed.

Well, yesterday wiped me out, and today's stage involves a lot more work, so I didn't get very far today. Still progress, though. The good news is that it came together exactly as I was hoping it would, and Wings absolutely loves it. That sample above? That translates, on the wall, to this:

The glare in the center is from the lights; the closet is too dark to paint in it (other than primer or the base coat) without lighting. They distort the color somewhat; it's the turquoise blue you see in the sample at the top, but this gives you an idea of the combo over a broader space. Up close, it looks like this (only, again, the green look to it is a trick of the lights and not true to life; it's bright turquoise blue):

Tomorrow, if all goes well, I'll get the closet and the hallway finished and get started on the bedroom walls. It's gonna take the whole four days to get this done, though.

In the meantime, there's a lot going on otherwise. And since our last sale is going to have to go to the electric bill on Monday (and I will be SO glad to get out of this RV and into the house, because our electric bill in this thing is absurdly high in the colder months), we're not going to have anything left over toward materials, and the guys will likely need more Structo-Lite come Monday. So, as always, we need shares, and we need them consistently:
  • Wings's PayPal account, for donations to the house fund (out of a current $30K goal, we were blessed with $1,175 in donations day before yesterday, lowering the balance to $26,025. If that link doesn't work, it's tied to his e-mail address: wingsoftaos [at] newmex [dot] com.
  • His Web site, for sales (always preferable, and the base upon which the whole project hinges anyway, along with paying our day-to-day living expenses) — and just by the way, he's got some really incredible new works up now.
  • Our Amazon wishlist, which contains Lowe's cards that will allow us to purchase some materials more cheaply than here in town, and also allow us to divert the extra funds to labor costs.
With luck, I'll have more complete photos tomorrow, if my joints cooperate. For tonight, making dinner is about the only thing left I can handle, and I need to get to it. As I said last night, profound thanks to everyone who's helped us get this far, and a little farther for next week, too. I hope we make it.
