New work by Wings. No water, no tourism, no rain. Sales badly needed, and subscribers and shares, too.

I posted yesterday before Wings had his newest work finished: the turtle pin shown above. It is not the turtle pin I initially promised; that was to be made with a smaller Damele turquoise cabochon. Wings didn't like how it was going and scrapped it (for the moment),  melting the silver down for ingot, then turned his attention to this one. The Damele will put in an appearance, likely before long, but for now, this spectacular specimen rules the day. It's called A Shield For Mother Earth, and it includes a quite literal shield on her back. You can read the full description here. It really is an amazing piece, and one that goes perfectly with his two new pairs of earrings, here and here.

It would be really nice to sell all of them. Like our water, tourism is at an abysmal level, and it's only going to get worse; there will be no powwow this year. For us, that's not as big a hit as for those who are vendors at the event, but it still means a massive decline in tourism and tourist dollars in the local economy. Our sales are way, way down for this time of year, a product no doubt of the fear and uncertainty at the federal level, but a reality for us nonetheless.

So we need to make sales. And I am out of time and out of patience with this one-handed typing nonsense, so the rest is mostly cut-and-paste. Wings has several new pieces in the works, one of which, at least, I hope to be able to post later tomorrow. Given that a new ER bill will be coming down the pike this week, it would be really helpful to sell Wings's new work, and plenty of the existing work, too (especially since there's no end to the dunning on the existing ER bills). New Patreon subscriptions would help, too. So anyway, since my klutziness has set us back yet again in a not-insignificant way, please share the links:
For today, that's all I got. Also? Pray for rain. It'll go above ninety again today, and we still have the haze from the various area fires, and there is no water to be had. Also? A few prayers for my wrist wouldn't hurt. I torqued that tendon a little while ago, and now I'm back in the sling, trying to deal with the pain. It's too easy to forget that the most unlikely motions (even without touching anything) set the nerves and the tendon on fire, and when your balance is as bad as mine is thanks to my AI stuff, you make a lot of unlikely, and unplanned-for, moves.
