Another day thirty degrees too warm; another day without a cloud in the sky. Plenty of smoke haze, though, in the opposite direction. Sixty-two degrees, and it should be only half that.

And there's not a thing we can do about it.

Which is par for the course now. Nothing we can do to ameliorate the evils in Gaza, in Congo, in Sudan, in Haiti, in Yemen, on We'tsu'we'ten lands or up at Thacker Pass or under the waters of my own homelands now. Politicians are completely disconnected from reality, from truth, from anything good or right, and they do not give a single damn who dies, as long as they stay in authority and control. Don't tell me fascism is coming if Biden's not re-elected; fascism's HERE, it's BEEN here, and it's being upgraded and reinforced by him. This is the man who is willing to let millions of Americans die to keep billion-dollar corporations raking in profits and himself in the Oval, after all. Some of you have no idea what's coming. We have a pretty good idea, having been hung out to dry ever since colonizers showed up here [that's where they weren't shooting, scalping, or burning our ancestors, you understand]. 

And I personally know what COVID patients are in for, having fought post-viral autoimmune disease my whole life. There's no relief from that, there never will be and now, it will only get worse [and it is, daily]. And while I'm no longer having to kill myself trying to make a certain minimum number of sales every week between now and year's end, this year has been so slow that we're way behind on everything, including prepaying next year's taxes [that's a zero; a big fat zero]. Which means that I need to continue to bring in consistent sales to get that covered. Once that prepayment is handled, I can rest a little. But not now. I figure if I can bring in around $6K in sales between now and year's end, we'll be in halfway decent shape.

So I'll still be pushing sales, if not with quite the same sense of desperation that has had me in a death-grip for most of the year. But I need to continue to bring in enough to get the taxes off my desk once and for all, so that means we need shares. I posted those new earrings here the other day, and they and three in the same series are Saturday's NDN Silver feature, here. Yesterday's feature was also earrings, and they're spectacular; for that matter, they're all gorgeous, and they all need to find their homes.
