Tonight I did not forget: Wings's latest in his new series of earrings.

I've been promising these for two days, and tonight I did not forget: Wings's latest in his new series of earrings. These are from the same limited series as the last three pairs [and I believe there will be one more pair to come for now, those to be set with carnelian]. The others, though, evoke mostly sky. These? It's the water.

And that is their name: Light On the Water. They're the same general "Eye of Spirit" shape; same radiant motifs above, at sides, and below. But these are set with old turquoise cabochons in seafoam green, soft and gentle and yet impossibly rich. These also have bezels that are hand-cut and -filed, because despite seeming to be commercial calibrated cabochons, they apparently are not: These have been in Wings's collection approximately forever, and they are just that little bit irregular, both too large and too small to be standard sizes, unbacked and delicate and absolutely beautiful.
