The Last Fire, and the First

Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a work unquestionably of and for autumn, its brilliant shades and fiery animating spirit renewing the lesson that fall is not a time for sadness, but instead one of joy and hope. It's a being dressed in autumnal regalia, dancing for the fire, and it reminds us that what the outside world sees as the death throes of another year is actually the pangs of the new one's birth, for this is the season of the last fire, and the first.
