I said I would have a new cuff, and I do. Now posted at NDN Silver, it's Wings's newest work, a vintage-style cuff completed only yesterday, and a marvel of freehand silverwork.

It's called Stars Float Down Like Butterflies, and it's formed of heavy-gauge sterling silver half-round wire, radiant starburst butterfly motifs alternating with tiny five-pointed stars down its convex surface. Both narrow edges are stamped freehand, as well, in repeating patterns, and along both sides of the inner band, scores of freehand lines are etched into the silver, an homage to one of the oldest silverwork techniques of them all.
