Not much that's happier than a warm, sleepy puppy by the fire. Chilly tonight, thanks to the rain, and definitely requiring a fire. Both dogs have slept in front of it. Now, if only we could get Cricket to come in and do the same . . . .

And thank all that's holy we're in for the night, because it's been a hell of a day, and not in any kind of good way. Right on-brand for the week, though. It's been awful, and I have got to have this weekend to regroup.

The one saving grace today was shipping out one set of commissions, now paid, and one new sale [for a new item that I was finally getting posted at ten after one this morning, if you're wondering how that's going]. So we can cover the materials next week, at least, and probably the labor. The following week, though? Yeah, that's why I've got to bring in a bunch of sales now.

Because it's been a ridiculously expensive year already [on top of last year]. If we can just continue to make regular weekly sales, we'll be fine . . . but we need to make those sales now. There's a lot of gorgeous new work up, and that includes several pairs of brand new earrings are a more modest price point than most of this work, but I've got to sell them for it to make any difference.
