Turning fast now.

That was this morning; everything is turning fast now. The weather people, though, can't get anything right.

They said it was 78 around noon, when in fact it was just shy of 70. Now they say it's 75, and that the day's high is 75, which would be impossible given that they already recorded it as 78, except neither is right because it's currently 80 here. And now they say thunderstorms around 4:30 . . . AFTER almost all the thunderheads have been blown out of here. Which is, frankly, typical; they're always wrong anymore.

But back to the colors. I was looking for something on an old flash drive, and I came across some photos from 14, 15 years ago, from the end of September, and there as a lot more green then than there is now, in the beginning of the month. That's mostly this killer drought, but the drought causes soil aridification and the two in turn cause climate collapse, and we're living it in real time here.

While these assholes in D.C. [and elsewhere] try to kill the planet further.  NM's governor is complicit in that:  She [a Dem] wants to partner with DoD [oh, excuse me, they've returned it to its original genocidal name, Department of War, which referred specifically to exterminating Indigenous peoples], specifically with DARPA, of all things, "to launch the state as the next Siilicon Valley" and make it "the home of quantum computing." In other words, she wants to kill the land and the water, because that's what happens with this shit. ISTG, they're all corrupt, and they're all trash. But she thinks she's gonna be the first woman prez [so does Haaland, for that matter], and they're all climbing over the most vulnerable to do it.

We didn't leave the party; the party forcibly threw us out.

For us, we have more immediate issues to deal with in terms of the home repairs. We can cover the materials this week, at least, and probably the labor. The following week, though? and the ensuing weeks, and the next three stages of it? Yeah, that's why I've got to bring in a bunch of sales now. If we're gonna have an early winter [still doubtful, because none of the ordinary signs, which these would normally be, hold as patterns], this job has to get completely done first. We've has a first snow as early as September 30th here, and that was just seven years ago, when all this climate collapse nonsense was already under way.

And it's been a ridiculously expensive year already [on top of last year]. If we can just continue to make regular weekly sales, we'll be fine . . . but we need to make those sales now. There's a lot of gorgeous new work up [and there will be more to come, as it fits it in around the commissions currently under way, six at the moment], and that includes several pairs of brand new earrings that are at a more modest price point than most of this work, but I've got to sell them for it to make any difference. And to that end, links are here:

And we do still need to make those regular weekly sales, so please share all of the links. We really do need this to be a better month than what we've had so far this year.
