Another hot, impossibly dry day. That bleached look in the sky around the treeline? Smoke. too many fires, too much heat, too little moisture [which is to say, none at all, even though by now the monsoon season should be fully under way]. Today, we had five percent humidity.
5%.
It's no surprise the trees are yellowing. Dying. You can't see it in that photo, but there are both on either side, just out of camera range. Meanwhile, those who cold do something about it are instead busy pissing what remains of the region's water away.
Yeah, I'm grumpy. Today began badly, got worse immediately, and hasn't notably improved since. I can't function with this level of pain, and it's everywhere. I need space, I need time, I need more hours in the day and fewer demands and not to have to talk to people constantly, for the love of all that's holy, and I can't get any of that.
I've also got to bring in enough sales to cover all this repair work, and I can't do that if I can't actually focus on my work. I've actually got to bring in a lot more sales than I expected us to need at this particular moment. And we can still use help with shares, testimonials, wishlist stuff I can't get to yet, etc. To that end, links are here:
