Apocalyptic skies.

What I mean by, as I said elsewhere, apocalyptic skies. This is what we have now, by day's end. Of course, we've had no visible blue to speak since dawn; everything is a dirty white, and nothing is visible beyond our south boundary. We socked in, but not by fog; it's smoke, or, more accurately maybe, smog. Suffocating particulate matter.  The moment you walk outside, your eyes start to sting, your throat burns, and your airway closes off.  Which means I'm spending most of my time indoors, and wearing a mask even just to go to the studio.

I also have to get the post done for Wings's new cuff; it's been done since late Friday, but I haven't had a chance to get the gallery entry done. It's phenomenal, so watch for it. There's also a brand new ring, posted here yesterday. I have GOT to make some sales for us to make it through the month, never mind the rest of the year.

Of course, the bills don't give a shit whether I can move or sleep or do anything or not, and I've got two more to pay this week (one of which is the payment on my whopping medical loan from a few years ago). Which means that making sales has got to be my perpetual focus, and I can't do it alone. Wings has A LOT of new work, so I'd be grateful to everyone who shares all of it, and of course, if you're in the market, keep us in mind for purchases. After paying our taxes the other night, I really do need to build up some reserves to get us just a tiny bit ahead of the eight-ball of bills.
